Dustin Brown deflected in a Willie Mitchell slapshot for the game-winning goal in double overtime, as the Los Angeles Kings rallied to defeat the New York Rangers 5-4 in Game Two of the Stanley Cup Final, taking a 2-0 series lead. Cheap Adidas Zx Flux . The Rangers held 2-0 and 4-2 leads in the game, but couldnt hold off the Kings, who have won three straight games in the postseason without holding a lead at any point in those three gaames. Brown, the double-OT hero, finished the game with the worst possession stats among Kings skaters. Mitchell, the 37-year-old veteran, logged 34:07 to rank third (behind the top pair of Drew Doughty -- 41:41! -- and Jake Muzzin) among Kings defencemen for time on ice. It was the first time since February 25, 2012 that defensive-minded Mitchell, who scored the Kings second goal, had a goal and an assist in the same game. (Incidentally, in all that ice time, Doughty had no shots on goal and only one attempt.) While Mitchell might count as some unexpected production, the Kings are getting used to big performances from RW Justin Williams, who had three assists to give him 23 points in 23 playoff games, tied with Jeff Carter, two points behind Anze Kopitar for the lead in the playoffs. Williams has eight points in his past four games, a stretch during which hes been on for 57.5% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts when hes on the ice. In a game that had many brilliant and exciting plays, the one that stands out, unfortunately, was the Kings third goal, scored 1:58 into the third period, when Kings LW Dwight King plowed into Henrik Lundqvist as D Matt Greenes shot from the point deflected off King into the net, cutting the Rangers lead to 4-3. Considering other goaltender interference calls in the playoffs, and even earlier in this game, its hard to fathom how King was granted immunity for invading Lundqvists crease, but it paid off and King had a strong night in general, adding an assist and on for 63% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts when he was on the ice. Rangers D Ryan McDonagh collided with King at the edge of the crease on that goal, though King was already in the blue paint at that point. McDonagh was front and centre in the action, scoring a goal and an assist for the Rangers, but McDonagh was also on the ice for the last three Kings goals. After the King goal, McDonagh had the puck deep in the Rangers zone, tripped over Derek Stepan and turned it over to Marian Gaborik, leading to the game-tying goal. In overtime, McDonagh was matched up on Brown as he tipped in the game-winning goal. LW Mats Zuccarello was a threat for the Rangers, launching a game-high 11 shot attempts towards the Kings net. Only three of those made it on net, but Zuccarello did put up a goal and an assist, giving him 13 points for the playoffs. RW Martin St. Louis scored a nice one-time goal for the Blueshirts, but was dominated in terms of possession, on the ice for nine shot attempts for and 27 against during 5-on-5 play. The Rangers line of Chris Kreider, Rick Nash and Derek Stepan was territorially dominant, on for more than 64.0% of the 5-on-5 shot attempts when they were on. Kreider had an assist and had eight shot attempts, but was impressive physically, recording a game-high nine hits. Nash had a game-high eight shots on goal (10 attempts), but couldnt find his way to the scoresheet -- the story of his playoffs, as he has the best puck possession stats of Rangers forwards, yet has three goals and 10 points through 22 playoff games. The Rangers have every right to be upset about how the Kings third goal was scored but, in the big picture, cant be entirely discouraged by the way the first two games in Los Angeles turned out. They got bad breaks that cost them in overtime, but the Rangers had enough opportunities in two road games to believe that they can hang with the Kings. Odds are against the Rangers coming all the way back, but lets see what they have upon returning to Madison Square Garden. If this years playoffs have revealed anything, its that leads, both in games and series, are not as safe as they once were. The Miami Heat will try to remain undefeated in this postseason Thursday night when they host the Brooklyn Nets for Game 2 of their Eastern Conference semifinals series at AmericanAirlines Arena. Wade Davis Royals Jersey . The Heat, the two-time defending NBA champion, swept the Charlotte Bobcats in round one, then knocked off the Nets, who went 4-0 against Miami during the regular season, 107-86, Tuesday. Dating back to Game 6 of the 2013 Finals, the Heat have won seven straight playoff games, which is one shy of tying the franchise record, which has been done twice. The Heat led by three points at the half Tuesday, but pulled away in the third quarter after outscoring the Nets 33-23 and shooting 70.6 percent (12-of-17) from the floor. They took a 13-point advantage into the fourth, where Miami cruised to victory. LeBron James had 22 points and five rebounds, followed by Chris Bosh, who posted 15 points and 11 rebounds. Ray Allen knocked down four 3-pointers off the bench and finished with 19 points for the Heat. Dwyane Wade had 14 points and Mario Chalmers added 12. The Heat shot 56.8 percent from the floor and only committed 10 turnovers. Their precision was impressive considering Miami hadnt played since last Monday after their sweep of the Bobcats. "I was concerned just a little bit about our rhythm and our flow because we were off eight days as far as playing a game," James said after practice on Wednesday. "When we got there, it was like we never missed a beat. Thats a great sign for us." Joe Johnson and Deron Williams netted 17 points apiece to lead the Nets, while Kevin Garnett went scoreless for the first time in his playoff career. "We need to attack them more than we did tonight," Garnett said. Marcus Thornton was the only other Brooklyn player in double figures with 11 for the second unit. The Nets advanced to the East semis after barely hanging on to beat the Toronto Raptors in a Game 7 at Air Canada Centre when Paul Pierce blocked Kyle Lowrys floater right before the buzzer. With the season sweep fresh in their minds, the Nets felt some degree of confidence and played with the Heat for the first half. Miami extended its halftime advantage with a 15-2 run during the middle stages of the third quarter. Bosh put in the first seven points of the surge, which included a triple and a three-point play from the Miami center, and Chalmers capped it with a layup for a 70-54 spread. The Heat built a margin as high 23 points down the stretch. "We know a lot of the things we did wrong defensively," Williams said after practice on Wednesday. "We made a lot of mistakes in our defensive gameplan. The focus going forward is keeping them out of the lane, keeping them from getting so many layups, so many easy baskets. When they do that, they get a lot of confidence and then they start hitting shots from everywhere." This is the third meeting between the two in the postseason and Miami has won the first two series. Younes Kaboul was dismissed in the 25th minute with a straight red card for taking down last man Stewart Downing. Spurs goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who prevented a far bigger defeat with a string of brilliant saves, then stopped a powerful free kick from Andy Carroll. But West Ham went ahead from the resulting corner by Mark Noble when Harry Kane accidentally headed in Carrolls header in the 27th. Downing made it 2-0 in the 44th at Upton Park with a low free kick after the Spurs wall voluntarily disintegrated when Paulinho and Emmanuel Adebayor left an embarrassingly large gap. West HHam continued strongly after the interval as Mo Diames overhead kick produced an exquisite save from Lloris, who did well to stop Kevin Nolan scoring the follow-up. Alex Gordon Flexbase Jersey. CLEARWATER, Fla. Camiseta Paco Alcacer . -- Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Cole Hamels threw off the mound for the first time this spring on Wednesday morning, an important step in his eventual return to the rotation. Hamels made his first career opening day start in 2013 and is unlikely to be ready for the assignment this year. Hamels entered camp behind schedule after battling biceps soreness in November. He was told to stop throwing and halt his weightlifting program for the rest of the winter. On the mound, Hamels threw 35 pitches in his side session. "Very encouraging," manager Ryne Sandberg said. Although the Phillies expect Hamels to be ready at some point in April, they are not going to push him in an effort to get him to the mound on opening day or the first week of the season. "If you do that with a guy, hes pressing to get ready for one, and thats the last thing we want to do," pitching coach Bob McClure said. "Two, if hes only up to 60 pitches or something like that, now youre going to tax your bullpen. I know hes anxious because he feels so good. But I think we kind of need to take a cautious road here." McClure said Hamels looked "really, really good" in his workout. The 30-year-old Hamels is in the second season since signing the most lucrative contract in Phillies history, a six-year deal worth $144 million. Hamels often pitched in bad luck last year, racking up just one win in the seasons first two months. But he had a 2.68 ERA in the seasons final three months and reached the 200-inning plateau for the fourth straight season. Hamels, the 2008 World Series MVP, finished at 8-14 with a 3.60 ERA in 33 starts. The Spurs shot a Finals record 75.8 percent from the floor in the first half in Tuesdays Game 3. They blitzed the Heat during that first 24 minutes, building a 25-point lead at one point and posting a 111-92 victory. San Antonio registered 41 first-quarter points and led 71-50 after the first half. The Heat stormed back a bit in the third, but the Spurs were too much. They reclaimed homecourt advantage and snapped Miamis 11-game home winning streak in the postseason dating back to Game 1 of last years Finals. "We think we can win on every court. We have the best record on the road, and we love playing on the road. Sometimes I feel like we play better on the road than at home," Spurs guard Tony Parker said after practice on Wednesday. "So I dont think we had doubts that we can win in Miami. Now we realized it was a crazy game and were not going to play like that every night, thats for sure. But hopefully we can keep playing well." Kawhi Leonard was the hero for the Spurs on Tuesday with a career-high 29 points. Leonard, who had scored just 18 points over the first two games of the Finals, shot 10-of-13 from the floor and went 6-of-7 from the free throw line for the Spurs. "I was focused on both ends the first two games. I just got in some foul trouble. Wasnt really able to get into a rhythm, and Heat did a good job by playing aggressive on defense," said Leonard. "I just made shots last minute." In addition to his offensive output, Leonard served as the primary defender against LeBron James, who supplied 22 points, seven assists, five rebounds and five steals, but committed seven of Miamis 20 turnovers in the setback. Danny Greeen added 15 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor, while Parker and Tim Duncan contributed 15 and 14 points, respectively, in the victory.http://www.eurocopaespanashop.es/camiseta-espa-a-2016-eurocopa-mario-gaspar-mujer-adidas-24-replica-blanca-segunda-equipacion-uefa-campeones-futbol-corta-jersey.html. Spurs coach Gregg Popovich made a change to the starting lineup prior to Game 3, inserting Boris Diaw for Tiago Splitter. The decision paid off as Diaw didnt post flashy numbers (nine points, three assists), but he helped facilitate the offense. For the Heat, the loss was bad and ruined a chance at a perfect home record during the postseason, but all is not lost. Miami is 13-0 following a loss in the playoffs dating back to 2012. "Youre always on edge in the postseason, but I dont want to be concerned at this point," James said after practice on Wednesday. "For us we have to make the adjustments. We owned what we had to do today in the film session and well come in with a better mindset tomorrow. But that doesnt mean it results in a win, too. But we have to play with a little bit more focus and a little bit more challenge." Dwyane Wade finished with 22 points, while Rashard Lewis went 4-of-5 from 3- point range en route to 14 points for the Heat. Wade, playing in his 150th career postseason game, surpassed Dirk Nowitzki (3,455) for 17th place on the NBAs all-time postseason scoring list. Chris Bosh had a slow night with only nine points thanks to just 12 touches. Mario Chalmers continued to struggle badly. He finished with just two points and has 10 for the whole series. "You want him to know we still have faith in him, trust in him and we need him," said Heat coach Erik Spoelstra on Wednesday. "And hes been able to play through tough times and been able to bounce back." Spoelstra indicated no lineup changes were forthcoming. The winner of Game 3 of a tied NBA Finals series has gone on to win the series 83 percent of the time (30-6). However, the Spurs won last years Game 3 with the set tied 1-1 and went on to lose in seven games to the Heat. Game 5 will be Sunday night back in San Antonio. ANAHEIM, Calif. Air Max Flyknit Womens Black And Purple . -- Kendrys Morales had already considered the wave of emotions he might feel when he stepped to the plate for the Los Angeles Angels for the first time in nearly two years. After what the Cuban slugger went through to get back to home plate at Angel Stadium, hes not exactly sweating it. "Being nervous is for kids," Morales said with a chuckle. Although Albert Pujols debut overshadows everything this weekend in Anaheim, Morales return from a broken ankle is also cause for celebration. Morales was back in the lineup when Los Angeles hosted the Kansas City Royals on Friday night, batting sixth as their designated hitter in the opener. "I always had positive thoughts," Morales said. "I always felt that if I worked hard, I could get back to where I needed to be. ... You feel a little bit. You get excited because youve been out for two years, but youve got to control your emotions, because its going to be a long season." Morales hadnt played in the majors since May 29, 2010, when he broke his left ankle while leaping onto home plate to celebrate a game-ending grand slam. After multiple surgeries and setbacks, Morales finally made his comeback in spring training, rejoining his teammates during the exhibition schedule. With everything going well in Arizona, Angels manager Mike Scioscia saw no reason to delay Morales comeback. He returned Morales to his lineup immediately, with struggling veteran Bobby Abreu starting the season on the bench. "He looks as good as ever, really," Angels outfielder Torii Hunter said. "Its been a tough road for him, but hes getting back to where he was, and we need his bat in the lineup. Hes an incredible hitter. I hope people didnt forget that." How long has Morales been gone? When he got hurt, he was still known as Kendry Morales -- a typo in his first name that he never corrected until his involvement in a court case last year around a sports agent accused of stealing more than $300,000 from the slugger. Morales recovery dragged on through numerous false starts. He initially thought he could return late in 2010, then was certain he would be ready for opening day last season -- but his ankle resisted quick healing, eventually requiring more surgery. Morales feels close to full strength, although he barely remembers that feeling. He can hit and run the bases with no limitations, and thats all Scioscia needs to know. "I dont feel exactly like I did," Morales said. "Ive just got to keep working, and I feel like Ill keep getting better and better and better." Morales is no stranger to struggle. After getting kicked off the Cuban national team for an unclear offence in 2003, he made multiple attempts to escape the island before finally succeeding a year later. The Angels signed him as a free agent, and he worked his way to the majors. Morales appeared to be right on the verge of stardom when he was injured. He batted .306 with 34 homers and 108 RBIs in 2009 while helping the Angels back to the playoffs, and he was leading the club with 11 homers and 39 RBIs when he got hurt in 2010. Much has changed at Angel Stadium since he last stepped to the plate. Mark Trumbo emerged as a star last season, leading the Angels in homers and RBIs as a rookie -- but both Trumbo and Morales were usurped at first base by the 10-year, $240 million signing of Pujols, the three-time NL MVP. Morales realizes he wont play much first base with Pujols in town, but seems unconcerned about his role on the Angels. Hes grateful for any role at all. "Theyre putting a lot of confidence in me, putting me there after a long time," Morales said. Yet even after nearly two years away, opening day is just a game. Morales said his wife and children werent at Angel Stadium to watch his return: "They dont like baseball that much." Air Max Thea Beige . BALTIMORE -- Knowing he needed a strong finish to win the pole at the Baltimore Grand Prix, Will Power summoned every bit of his racing ability Saturday against front-runner Graham Rahal. Power used a late surge to earn his seventh pole of the season, a point in the Izod IndyCar Series standings and some peace of mind heading into Sundays race on a difficult street course. "The final run was absolutely everything I had in me. It was exhausting," said Power, who completed his fifth and final lap in one minute 20.2447 seconds to edge Rahal (1.20.3238). Torontos James Hinchcliffe will start 17th, while Alex Tagliani of Lachenaie, Que., will go from 21st position. It was the Australians 23rd career pole, tying Johnny Rutherford for 11th on the career list. Power also took the first place in last weeks qualifier in California. More important, it gave him an advantage heading into Sundays race on a tight, potentially dangerous two-mile street course. "Securing the pole position is an advantage here because you dont have to worry about trying to pass, and since it is a street circuit there can be a lot of yellows," Power said. Thats why he understood it was imperative to close with flourish Saturday. "I knew I had one lap to do it," he said. "I didnt think I got it. That was definitely a tough one." Rahal will also begin in Row 1. Although it was his best start of the year, the American couldnt help but be disappointed in the finish. "I had a good one going," he said. "I ran into the chicane ... and I locked up the right front. I kind of got it through the chicane but it wasnt pretty.Casemiro Jersey. Lost all our time there pretty well." Rahal was followed by Ryan Briscoe, Dario Franchitti, Sebastien Bourdais and Ryan Hunter-Reay. Briscoe was particularly pleased after sustaining damage to his car in Fridays practice run. Using advice from Team Penske mates Power and Helio Castroneves, Briscore rebounded smartly to finish third in qualifying for a second straight week. "Today was all about getting the confidence back," he said. "After practice yesterday, I tried to base a lot of my information off of Helio and Will since they had fast cars and were really happy with what they had." Franchitti -- whose first-place lead over Power shrunk to 25 points -- struggled from the outset. "The first two I just didnt think I got a clean lap. I didnt put together a whole lap," he said. "By the time we got out on the third one, I think we made the car a little bit better, put a half-decent lap together. Obviously, were not where we need to be." Much of the talk leading to the race has been about a challenging course with plenty of hairpin turns, bumpy terrain, bothersome railroad tracks and troubling chicanes. There is little margin for error and plenty of places to make them.. Franchitti, who will be seeking his career-high tying fifth victory of the year, plans to keep it simple Sunday. Asked what it takes to win, he replied, "Dont make any mistakes and hopefully dont get caught up in anybody elses accident. Hopefully the strategy works out. As we know, theres a million things that go into surviving one of these things, far less winning them." Each week, The Reporters put their thumbs out to the good and the bad in the world of sports. Cameron Maybin White Jersey . This week they discuss Maple Leafs defenceman Paul Ranger, Floyd Mayweather, the Washington Capitals decision to let Alex Ovechkin participate in the Olympic torch relay and the Washington Redskins nickname. Bruce Arthur, National Post: My thumb is up to Toronto Maple Leafs defenceman Paul Ranger. Ranger was a top-four defenceman for Tampa Bay when in 2009 he asked for a leave of absence from the team and for his salary to be withheld. He didnt come back. After two years he resurfaced to help coach his old bantam triple-A team in Whitby. And last year he asked Toronto for an AHL-only contract and excelled. Now hes a Leaf. He wont say what specifically kept him away, but he talks about how strong he feels inside, how the mental side of the game is so important and how proud he is that hes come this far. Were not hard to root for people in this business, but Ill say this: for Paul Ranger its not hard to make an exception. Steve Simmons, Sun Media: My thumb is up to Floyd Mayweather Jr., the only breakout star left in the dwindling attraction that is boxing. Money Mayweather was at his best Saturday night in Las Vegas putting on another clinic of both pugilism and commerce winning just about every round against the capable Canelo Alvarez and taking home a guaranteed purse of $41.5 million to boot. Mayweather was as slippery as ever in the Super Welterweight title bout, nearly impossible to hit, counter-punching, utilizing his incomparable hand speed. The only downfall to the one-sided win was one of the ringside judges, C.J. Ross, myopically scored the fight a draw. Anyone who watched from around the world knew better. Michael Farber, Sports Illustrated: My thumb is up to simple common sense, which the Washington Capitals showed in the not-insignificant matter of Alex Ovechkin and the Olympic torch relay. The Capitals are allowing Ovechkin a quick trip to Greece to carry the torch from Mount Olympus even though it will occur only two days before the team opens – eight time zones away – in Chicago. Washington might have a travel-weary captain against the Blackhawks, but my guess is this conspicuously proud Russian will be energized by the torch honour. Ovechkin had a slow start to his Hart-winning 2013 season. This Olympic hors doeuvre is the thing that might light a fire under him. Dave Naylor, TSN: My thumb is up to the growing number of voices calling for the Washington Redskins to find a new nickname. Recently the chorus of those crying for change added two prominent American journalists: Peter King of Sports Illustrated and Christine Brennan of USA Today who, among others, said they will no longer use the word in their work. More significantly, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell appears to be changing his tune, talking about the "need to be listening" and to "do the right thing." Many, including Goodell, have pointed out that the Redskins name represents an important piece of the NFLs history. But history is exactly where that name belongs. BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Dont rule out Niagara Falls as a potential future home of the Buffalo Bills. Several officials told The Associated Press that a newly formed Bills stadium task force of public and private leaders seeking to bolster the teams long-term viability is considering sites that would put it closer to the teams burgeoning Ontario fan base. "Were looking at Niagara County," Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy told the AP this week. "Were open to looking at a number of venues." Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster confirmed Niagara County was discussed as an option during the inaugural meeting last week of the newly formed New Stadium Working Group committee. Duffy made clear "that all options should be on the table," Dyster said, adding that includes Niagara County and even Batavia, about halfway between Buffalo and Rochester. That goes beyond the groups initial directive, which was first limited to seeking potential stadium sites in Erie County, where Buffalo is located. Another idea is having the Bills relocate their headquarters to the University at Buffalo campus in the Erie County town of Amherst, where a new practice facility would be built and shared with the schools football team. That proposal would satisfy a long-term need for a Mid-American Conference program seeking to broaden its profile. Though not a member of the working group, New York state Sen. Tim Kennedy told the AP he is aware of the preliminary discussions tying the Bills and the school. A person familiar with the discussions confirmed the Bills/UB plan has been raised. That person wasnt authorized to publicly discuss the subjects raised in the private meeting and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity. Duffy and Dyster are among 20 members of the stadium group, which was established to make recommendations on whether the Bills require a new facility or should continue playing at Ralph Wilson Stadium, their 41-year-old home in Orchard Park. The group was formed as part of a 10-year, $271-million lease agreement the team reached with the state and Erie County in December 2012. The groups role in helping determine the Bills future took on more significance after Ralph Wilson, the teams owner and founder, died on March 25. Wilsons widow, Mary Wilson, is now overseeing the team until the franchise is sold, which raises the possibility of the Bills relocating under a new owner. The Bills are essentially locked into playing at their current home through the 2019 season, because the lease features a $400 million penalty in the event the team broke it. In 2020, the Bills have a one-time opportunity to opt out of the lease ffor about $28 million. Lance Parrish Jersey. Toronto and Los Angeles are regarded potential suitors. The new owner will have final say on any stadium proposal. Its incumbent upon the working group, which includes U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer, to present a framework of viable options that provide the best chance of keeping the team in western New York. "We have many very good tools to help that happen," Schumer told the AP. "I think there is a view that us showing early interest and the potential of a new home for the Bills is very helpful, because we want to show an owner that we want to do what it take to keep the Bills in Buffalo." Ralph Wilson Stadium is currently undergoing $130 million in upgrades. The work includes structural upgrades and adding fan amenities to bring the facility up to modern-day NFL standards. The Bills presence has been regarded as key in helping an economically hard-hit region maintain a national identity. As the NFLs only New York-based franchise, the team generates about $20 million in direct annual tax revenue for the state. Niagara Falls is 30 minutes closer by car than Orchard Park to a growing southern Ontario fan base. The Bills estimate Canadians make up about 18 per cent of their season-ticket base. Kennedy favours the proposal of linking the Bills and the university but is against a stadium site outside of Erie County. "The Buffalo Bills were born in Buffalo and should stay in Buffalo," Kennedy said. "At least in Erie County. If were talking about a new stadium Id like to see it built in Buffalo proper." Kennedy said a new stadium with a dome or a retractable roof could be part of a larger development, including a new convention centre. The new facility would boost efforts to re-energize downtown Buffalo, he said, and could even make the city a contender for hosting the Super Bowl, he said. Former Erie County Executive Joel Giambra said the southern Ontario market is critical to the Bills future. Giambra said Wilson discussed with him the possibility of the team playing home games in St. Catharines, Ontario, while maintaining its headquarters in New York. "They were aggressively trying to figure out how to tap that Canadian marketplace because of the economics," Giambra said. Dyster is aware of discussions regarding the advantages of Niagara Falls location, but said its premature to suggest what recommendations might emerge. "The critical thing here is that we all have to come together as a region to make certain that we keep the Bills here," Dyster said. "If we lose the Bills, were all losers." LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles Clippers co-owner Shelly Sterling would remain close to the organization under terms of the pending sale to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, according to two individuals close to the negotiations. Air Max 90 Noir . The individuals, who are not authorized to speak publicly, told The Associated Press the $2 billion deal allows for up to 10 per cent of the team -- or $200 million -- to be spun off into a charitable foundation that Shelly Sterling would essentially run. The deal was negotiated by Shelly Sterling after husband Donald Sterlings racist remarks to a girlfriend were publicized and the NBA moved to oust him as team owner. One of the individuals said Shelly Sterling and Ballmer would be co-chairs of the foundation. The individuals said the foundation would target underprivileged families, battered women, minorities and inner city youths. "To benefit those on the receiving end of Donalds rather abhorrent remarks," one individual said. The idea to allow Shelly to continue some role was floated early on by her attorney, Pierce ODonnell -- neither he nor Shelly Sterling responded to a request for comment -- and it was enthusiastically agreed to by the NBA. "The NBA was all over it in terms of support," one of the individuals said. "It gave her a meaningful role and stake in the team, and gave the NBA 100 per cent sale of the team." However, the NBA made clear she wouldnt be involved with the basketball franchise. "It is not accurate that Mrs. Sterling will have a role with the Clippers or stake in the team," NBA spokesman Mike Bass said. Donald Sterlings attorney, Maxwell Blecher, did not comment. But its unclear if this deal will ever materialize as Donald Sterling still had not signed off on the deals terms because the NBA would not agree to revoke its $2.5 million fine and lifetime ban, according to one of the individuals. Sterling had agreed to sell the team Wednesday and drop his $1 billion federal lawsuit against the NBA assuming "all their differences had been resolved." But now hes considering continuing the suit after being told by intermediaries the NBA wont budge on the punishments doled out by Commissioner Adam Silver after Sterlings racist comments were publicized. Donald Sterlings consent to his wifes potentially record-breaking $2 billion deal was the first sign of an end to weeks of uncertainty. The NBAs owners must approve the deal. Donald Sterlings comments to V. Stiviano included telling her to not bring black people to Clippers games, specifically mentioning Hall of Famer Magic Johnson. They resulted in a storm of outrage from the public and players and even prompted President Barack Obama to comment on what he called Sterlings "incredibly offensive racist statements." Silver ultimately decided to ban Donald Sterling for life and began efforts to force Sterling to sell the team. Donald Sterlings federal lawsuit alleges that the league violated his constitutional rights by relying on information from an "illegal" recording that publicized racist remarks he made to a girlfriend. It also said the league committed a breach of contract by fining Sterling $2.5 million and that it violated antitrust laws by trying to force a sale. For weeks, Donald Sterling said through his attorneys that hed fight the NBAs attempt to oust him as a team owner. But last week Shelly Sterling utilized her authority as sole trustee of The Sterling Family Trust, which owns the Clippers, to take bids for the team and ultimately negotiate a deal with Ballmer. Under the deal Shelly Sterling would also get the title of "owner emeritus" and be entitled to continuing perks such as floor seats, additional seats at games and parking. One of the individuals said the deal also includes conditions that allow Ballmer to buy back the 10 per cent portion of the team for a pre-designated price upon Shelly Sterlings death. "All the proceeds go to charity, its not going to go to her," an individual said. "Shes walking away with a $2 billion check. Thats enough for her."Air Max 1 Noir Homme Pas Cher .com) - Carmelo Anthonys 27 points and 11 rebounds propelled the New York Knicks to their first winning streak in over two months by virtue of Wednesdays 98-91 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Catch the action live on TSN2 at 7:30pm et/4:30pm pt. The Wild lead the Northwest Division and look to get back into the win column after having a season-high seven-game winning streak cut short with Tuesdays 2-1 loss at Winnipeg in the finale of a five-game road trip (4-1-0). Guillaume Latendresse scored the lone goal and Niklas Backstrom turned aside 25 shots for Minnesota, which had a seven-game road winning streak halted as well. "Thats not really indicative of how weve had our success," said Minnesota head coach Mike Yeo. "I thought we were pretty loose in a lot of areas, in particular with how we played with the puck. We just left a little too much open ice for them and a little too much back and forth. When you do that you turn it into a 50/50 game." Minnesota was aiming for its first eight-game winning streak since a franchise-best nine-game run from March 8-24, 2007. It has still won 12 of its last 15 games. Dany Heatley played in his 700th career game and has recorded a point in seven straight games for the Wild, who will also host the New York Islanders on this brief homestand and are 10-4-1 in St. Paul, MN this season. The Wild lead the NHL in wins (20) and points (43). The Blackhawks have won back-to-back games, both in overtime, and recorded a 3-2 victory versus San Jose on Sunday. Patrick Sharp scored with 34 seconds left in overtime and both Andrew Brunette and Marcus Kruger lit the lamp in the win, Chicagos sixth in its last eight tries. Goaltender Ray Emery stopped 35 shots for the 100th regular-season victory of his NHL career. "He was great tonight," Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville said of Emery, whose 35 saves were a season high. "They put everything at the net, including bodies, and he was fighting through it all." Quennevilles team is 9-6-1 on the road this season. Captain Jonathan Toews leads the Western Conference with 20 points (10g, 10a) on the road this year. Sharp has delivered consecutive overtime winners and has nine goals in his last eight games, while Patrick Kane has tallied eight points (1g, 7a) over his last six contests. Four of Chicagos last five games have reached overtime. The Blackhawks and Wild are playing the first of four meetings this season. Chicago is 6-1-1 in the series since the start of the 2009-10 campaign and is unbeaten in its last three visits to Minnesota. Iguodala hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer, David Lee scored 23 points and the Warriors won their eighth straight game with a 101-100 victory over the Hawks. "Every part of that play worked because everybody ran like they were going to get the ball," Iguodala said. "The defence had to stay honest and pick their poison." Stephen Curry added 22 points with nine assists and Klay Thompson had 21 points for Golden State, which recovered from a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter to get back in the game and extend its road winning streak to five straight. Pero Antic finished with a career-high 16 points and Shelvin Mack had 15 for the Hawks. Atlanta had won three of four and six of eight. Iguodala was inbounding the ball with 2.8 seconds left near the Hawks bench and had 6-foot-11 centre Antic defending him when he passed the ball to Curry near the halfcourt line. Mack was guarding Curry closely enough that Iguodala moved a few feet inside and was open when Antic moved up to help Mack close space on Curry. Iguodala took Currys bounce pass, squared up and hit the game-winner as Jeff Teague made a frantic attempt to disrupt the shot. "We defended the initial action pretty well," Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said. "Steph Curry demands a lot of attention. We got the ball out of his hands, and then they made a tough shot. Its a credit to Iguodala, a credit to Curry for making the pass." The Warriors were just 6 for 27 on 3-point attempts, including a 1 for 7 night from Curry that was a far cry from his previous performance. In a stirring 123-114 victory at two-time defending NBA champion Miami on Thursday, Golden State matched a season high by hitting 15 3s, including eight from Curry, its top playmaker. Golden State called timeout after Iguodala grabbed Paul Millsaps missed jumper with 2.8 seconds remaining, and coach Mark Jacksson drew up the options for a winning play.http://www.officialauthenticbengalsstore.com/authentic-russell-bodine-jersey.html. "I was a decoy at first and then it became my play once we didnt have our first option," Curry said. "Once I got the ball in my hands, they jumped off (Iguodala) and he jumped in. A clutch, clutch, clutch shot by him." Antic said it was his decision, not Budenholzers plan, for him to double-team Curry. "Even if I score 16 points, a career high, at the end I make a mistake," Antic said. "We lose the game, so I feel bad." Teague finished with 14 points and seven assists while Millsap had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Atlanta. Curry hit his lone 3 with 5:05 remaining, cutting the lead to 93-87, but committed turnovers on three of Golden States next four possessions and was upset enough to throw his mouthpiece away in frustration on the Atlanta baseline after getting called for a discontinued dribble. Even so, the Warriors kept the pace frantic with tight defence to fuel their fast break and go on a 20-4 run that ended with 2:21 remaining on Currys runner. Golden State led 96-95. "We had been bad for the majority of the night," Jackson said. "Stepped up the defence, stepped up the offence, began to make plays. We made multiple-effort plays on the defensive end. This is an incredible win for us, especially the way things had been going." Notes: Golden States last eight-game winning streak was March 25-April 8, 2005. ... TRADES Knicks acquire: Tyson Chandler (4 years, $58-million)Mavericks acquire: Andy Rautins, trade exception While Chandler has the Championship bonafides that his new All-Star teammates lack, he also has a tremendously fragile body and it remains to be seen how much of a difference maker he can be outside of Dallas. Devon Travis Jersey . The Mavs did give up 3.8 fewer points per 100 possessions when he was on the court according to 82games.com and considering New York ranked 21st in Defensive Efficiency last season you can begin to understand why theyd take a chance on his services. Dallas, meanwhile, gets a massive trade exception they can attempt to parlay into a replacement for Chandler (theyre reportedly pursuing Sacramento free agent Sam Dalembert). FREE AGENT SIGNINGS Magic re-sign: Jason Richardson (4 years, $25-million) A somewhat stunning move since Richardsons PER dropped from 19.1 down to 13.2 after being traded from Phoenix to Orlando last season. Even more stunning since Dwight Howard appears to be on his way out and one would have assumed the team would be entering a rebuilding phase as a result. Still, its not hard to see why Richardson took the money when most teams wanted to force him into a midlevel deal. Celtics re-sign: Jeff Green (1 year, $9-million) That deal is worth $18-million after the luxury tax hit, which is an insane amount for a backup small forward. Despite the fact that Greens impact was much smaller with Boston than it was with Oklahoma City last year, his per-minute stats were basically unchanged. Unless Boston can find him a bigger role, however, this deal makes no sense at that price. Mavericks acquire: Vince Carter (1 year, minimum salary) Carter will slide into DeShawn Stevensons old minutes without offering nearly the defensive abilities but might offer more on offense (though DeShawn shot better from three last season). Knicks acquire: Mike Bibby (1 year, minimum salary) Bibbys career is winding down but hes still getting cheap deals from upper-echelon teams looking for his veteran leadership. The Knicks lack experience on the perimeter after amnestying Chauncey Billups, so this is a cheap way to inject some this season. Heat re-sign: Mario Chalmers (3 years, $12-million), James Jones (3 years, $4.5-million) Chalmers never capitalized on the potential many saw for him, losing starting spots to guys like Carlos Arroyo and Mike Bibby. Jones is a stellar corner sniper whos minutes are uncertain with arrival of Shane Battier. Hawks acquire: Vladimir Radmanovic (1 year, minimum salary) A long-range shooting combo forward that is finally being paid in line with his production and reliability. Jazz re-sign: Earl Watson (2 years, minimum salary) Watson makes a lot more sense for the team this year since its now loaded with a young core in need of veteran leadership. Raptors acquire: Aaron Gray, Anthony Carter, Rasual Butler (1 year, minimum salary) Gray is a solid depth big with more left in the tank than Magloire. Carter is a tremendous locker room presence and total "coachs player". Butler, meanwhile, has seen his game fall of a cliff and will see more burn in practice than in games. Thunder re-sign: Daequan Cook (2 years, $7.5-million) Long-range sniper is an ideal inexpensive fit for a team with the 19th best three-point shooting percentage last season (.347). Mavericks acquire: Brandan Wright (2 years, $2-million) Another team gets to pretend that Wright is primed for a breakout season, and that pretense is all he really offers to an NBA club anymore. "I think any fun about pitching against them disappeared this morning with the news of Tony passing," the Mariners right-hander said after Seattles 5-1 win over San Diego on Monday night. "My condolences go out to his family, the Padres organization, the city of San Diego. He meant a lot to everyone there and Im grateful I had the opportunity to work with him and get to know him." The loss capped a sombre day for the Padres organization. Gwynn, 54, died Monday morning of oral cancer, a disease he attributed to years of chewing tobacco. "Even though were away from San Diego I think the Mariners did a good job of putting Tony out there," Padres manager Bud Black said. Kyle Seager hit a three-run homer in the first inning, Brad Miller added a solo shot, and Young threw six shutout innings against his former team. San Diego was on the verge of being shut out by Young (6-4) and a pair of relievers until Carlos Quentin hit a solo homer leading off the ninth. But Gwynn was on everyones mind at Safeco Field. Seattle honoured Gwynn with a video tribute and moment of silence before the game and put a 19 on the dirt in the hole between the shortstop and third baseman. Gwynn called that the "5.5 hole" and many of his 3,141 hits went through it. San Diego added black armbands to its uniform in honour of Gwynn, and his No. 19 jersey hung in the Padres dugout. His jersey also was scattered among fans in attendance. "He is the city of San Diego. You talk Padres baseball, Tony Gwynn is everything there," Young said. Seagers homer came on a 3-0 pitch from San Diego starter Tyson Ross (6-6). Coming off a 4-for-4 performance on Sunday, Seager was given the green light and hit his 10th homer of the season. Miller followed with a ssolo homer an inning later. Joe Carter Jersey. . Robinson Cano added an RBI double as Seattle scored all five runs in the first two innings. Seager leads Seattle in home runs and has seven hits in his last 10 at-bats with six RBIs. James Jones also stole three bases and scored twice for Seattle. "Its a good feeling that the skipper has confidence in you, thats always good," Seager said. "In that situation I had seen a couple of pitches ... when you get the opportunity you have to make sure you capitalize and get a ball in the air. Young was once an All-Star for the Padres and has become a valuable acquisition since joining Seattle at the end of spring training. After losing his last two starts, Young gave up two hits in the first inning and then cruised. He retired 16 of the final 19 batters he faced, giving up a pair of singles and issuing one walk. He matched his season high with six strikeouts. Joe Beimel, who gave up the final home run in Gwynns career, pitched one inning of relief for Seattle. Tom Wilhelmsen then got the final six outs, but couldnt complete the shutout giving up Quentins third homer of the season. Ross had allowed only one homer in his previous six starts, but struggled all night. He walked a career-high seven and at least one in every inning. Ross pitched into the sixth inning and helped save the Padres bullpen. "My command wasnt very sharp tonight," Ross said. "I kind of grinded through some innings there and overall just wasnt in the strike zone early and often enough." NOTES: Young has now faced all 30 teams in the majors. ... Seattle hopes to send injured 1B Justin Smoak (quad) out on a rehab assignment Wednesday. Corey Hart (hamstring) and Michael Saunders (shoulder) could join Smoak on rehab assignments by the end of the week. ... LOS ANGELES -- Prosecutors wont file criminal charges against ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson for a scuffle that scratched his ex-girlfriends finger. Air Max 1 Sale Mens . Los Angeles County prosecutors announced Friday that there isnt enough evidence to charge the former NFL wide receiver with domestic violence. Authorities say the victim was unco-operative and the injury appeared to be minor and accidental. In a statement, Johnson denies committing a crime and says hes pleased the matter has been resolved. Johnson was arrested last month after an argument with Jennifer Conrad at a home in Calabasas. Authorities say Johnson tried to take her cellphone and during the struggle her shirt collar was torn and she received a small scratch. Johnson spent 11 years in the NFL with the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers. Air Max 90 American Flag . He then tried the other side of the ice, and that worked out quite well for him and the Chicago Blackhawks. LONDON -- Michael Laudrup was fired as Swansea manager on Tuesday, paying the price for a slump in the year since delivering the south Wales clubs first major trophy. The Dane is leaving the Premier League club after 20 months, having signed a new contract in March 2013 after being linked with leading clubs following his teams triumph in the League Cup. Now, though, Swansea is 12th in the standings but just two points above the relegation zone, prompting the 49-year-old Laudrups dismissal. "It is a decision we have taken reluctantly," chairman Huw Jenkins said. "But its a decision made in the best interests of Swansea City Football Club and our supporters. It is the first time in nearly 10 years that the club has parted with a manager in this way, but we had to remove the constant uncertainty surrounding the club and Michaels long-term future with us." Garry Monk, the 34-year-old defender who has been out injured since September, will replace Laudrup, alongside current first team coach Alan Curtis, "for the foreseeable future," Swansea said. Like Laudrup, two possible contenders for the job on a full-time basis are former Barcelona players who advocate the type of passing game favoured by Swansea; Oscar Garcia, who currently manages second-tier club Brighton, and Luis Enrique, who is in his first season as coach of Celta Vigo. Swanseas next game is the south Wales derby against fierce rival Cardiff at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday. Air Max Thea Beige. "After thinking long and hard about the best way forward, I felt it was unlikely we would achieve a stable environment at the club (with Laudrup) to allow us to get back to basics and produce the performance levels that have served Swansea City so well over the last few years," Jenkins said. "Now we need to put that uncertainty behind us and move forward as a united football club on all fronts." For Laudrup, whose fortunes have rapidly plummeted since the League Cup success last February, it is the latest setback in a mixed managerial career for the former forward following a successful playing career that took in both Barcelona and Real Madrid. After winning the league and cup in Denmark with Brondby, he guided Getafe to the final of the Copa del Rey -- where they lost to Sevilla -- in his one season with the unheralded Spanish club. Next came a troubled year in Russia with Spartak Moscow before returning to Spain with Mallorca, where he soon fell out with the owners. It was at Swansea where his profile soared, building on the work of predecessor Brendan Rodgers and initially establishing the team as a fixture in the Premier Leagues top 10 with its attractive passing game. But since beating lowly Bradford in the cup final, Swansea has won just eight of out 35 Premier League games across the two seasons and there have been continuous reports about a rift with the hierarchy.
