ASHBURN, Va.
Carlos Hyde Jersey . -- Mike Shanahan, still
for now the coach of the Washington Redskins, made a surprising reversal Monday
and said he might bench a "100 per cent" healthy Robert Griffin III for the rest
of the season to keep the quarterback from getting hurt. Shanahan essentially
declared it might be more beneficial for Griffin to get off-season snaps in May
rather than game experience over the next three weeks. The coach, for the first
time, then explicitly left open the possibility that he might not return next
year, saying his future will be decided after he meets with owner Dan Snyder at
the end of the season. Shanahans departure appears more likely than ever after
the Redskins (3-10) were embarrassed 45-10 by Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, a
fifth straight loss that ensures a third season of double-digit losses in the
coachs four seasons in Washington. "You always want to come back. I love these
guys," Shanahan said. "Whatll happen at the end of the season, well get a
chance, Dan and I, to sit down and decide -- hell make the final decision on
whats the best interest of the Washington Redskins. Ill give my opinion and what
I think, and obviously hell make the final decision." Shanahan said he has a
"good relationship" with Snyder and spoke with the owner on Monday. The coach
didnt go into detail about the conversation other than to say it involved
Griffin. "He asked me about my relationship with Robert," Shanahan said. "And I
said I was his coach, his head football coach, and not necessarily his best
friend, dont need to be his best friend. I want to make him the best quarterback
possible." A team spokesman said Snyder was not available for comment.
Nevertheless, Shanahan has increasingly appeared to be the odd man out in the
triangle of owner, coach and quarterback. Shanahan and Griffin have publicly
clashed this season, and Shanahan said he hasnt discussed the possible benching
with Griffin and wont do so until after making a final decision on Wednesday. On
Sunday, when asked if he had any doubts he would start the upcoming game against
the Atlanta Falcons, Griffin replied: "No, thats not an issue." In discussing
the reasons for sitting Griffin in favour of backup Kirk Cousins, Shanahan
repeatedly pointed out that Griffin has been sacked 24 times in the last five
games. He also noted that Griffin missed this years off-season practices while
recovering from major knee surgery, a reason often cited for Griffins struggles
a year after winning the NFLs offensive rookie of the year award. "Were talking
about his health," Shanahan said. "I want to make sure hes healthy. I think
thats the most important thing going into the off-season, that he has his first
full off-season being healthy. And if he did play, and something happened to
him, I think it would set our franchise back." Shanahan has previously insisted
that Griffin would remain the starter if healthy because the quarterback needed
as much regular season work as possible to develop an all-around game. Asked if
Griffin is healthy now, Shanahan said: "I think hes 100 per cent. I think hes
feeling very good." The tension was palpable throughout Shanahans news
conference, which also included him debunking a report that he cleaned out his
office in advance of Januarys playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks. "It would
take me two minutes to clean out my office," Shanahan said. "Ive got two
notebooks and Ive got an iPad. When I hear different things like that, I just
shake my head." Such bizarre days have become standard fare for the Redskins
under Snyder. The team is 104-133 in the regular season since he bought the team
in 1999, and Shanahan is his seventh coach in 15 seasons. Shanahan is 24-37 in
Washington. And, according to Shanahan, there are more bizarre days to come.
"Fortunately I havent been in too many of these situations, and if you have,
then youre not around very long," Shanahan said. "But I understand what goes on
when you win the NFC East and all of sudden youve got three wins. It goes with
the territory. I understand theres going to be a different story every day, and
its not going to change over the next three weeks." Notes: RB Evan Royster will
go on injured reserve with a high left ankle sprain. ... There was a rare moment
of levity during Shanahans news conference when a Redskins intern stumbled to
the floor while helping to pass out microphones. "OK, we got one on IR,"
Shanahan said with a chuckle. "Some guys will do anything to get on TV."

Colin Kaepernick Jersey .com) - The Toronto
Maple Leafs will try to continue their terrific start to the 2013-14 campaign
when they welcome the streaking Minnesota Wild for Tuesdays clash at Air Canada
Centre. There were some very good games this week past. Three came down to the
fourth quarter while quarterbacks continued to shine in all four games; so
important to the overall quality of the game. I dont know whether to feel
exhilaration for the way the Edmonton Eskimos beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers or
remorse for the way the Bombers lost. I thought Winnipeg did a masterful job or
running plays to support their two new offensive tackles Jarvis Jones and Dan
Knapp. Early in the game they used tight ends, running backs, motion, and
movement to make sure they werent isolated one on one in space. It was excellent
play calling by the offensive staff of the Bombers. The difficulty for Winnipeg
the rest of the season is at 2-10 making the playoffs is not realistic and if it
were to happen, it would likely be a one and done run. So how do you improve a
team with new personnel and try to maintain continuity? That is supposed to
happen in training camp, not Week 14. The last six games will be a painful one
for Bombers fans in the stands but an inevitable step. Am I saying sacrifice the
2013 season for 2014? Yes, to a point. Until mathematically eliminated, play on.
But find talent and let it shine in game conditions. At the risk of sounding
repetitive, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats are getting better and better. Montreal
played well on defence and moved the ball against them, but the Tiger-Cats were
4-4 on field goal attempts, scored on a fake field goal, and continue to be
productive with the Dan LeFevour experiment. It is so true there are a lot of
ways to lose and a lot of ways to win, and both reasons why are often subtle.
Every Tuesday morning I have an errand to run that takes me by the new Ticats
Stadium. It looks good! With Kent Austin as head coach improving this team,
another year with Henry Burris (you know he wants to come back), I would by a
season ticket ASAP. Why dont I? My blood still runs Argonauts Blue. And speaking
of the Doublee Blue, the Toronto Argonauts have now won three road games in a
row.
Ronnie Lott 49ers Jersey. At Montreal, at
Saskatchewan, and now at Calgary. That is impressive. The East may come down to
Hamilton and Toronto as both teams are pulling away from Montreal and Winnipeg.
I was not sold on Zach Collaros until the win over Calgary. He is not Ricky Ray
and he is not Darian Durrant; Collaros has his own style and way of getting
things done. He is definitely in the Ottawa RedBlacks picture as an expansion
pick as his skill set is only surpassed by his competitive attitude. You can
build around that quality of “never say die” leadership. Watch out for Jerious
Norwood as a running back as well. He had 135 all-purpose yards in Calgary and
his acceleration combined with his last minute elusiveness is excellent. Three
straight wins with no Chad Owens, right now the Argonauts are peaking as a team
and need to relax and keep it going. In BC, I was impressed with another young
QB in Thomas DeMarco. For a first game starter his statistics werent mind
blowing – 18-33, 208 yards and no turnovers – but he was excellent responding in
pressure plays. Also, DeMarco has big time velocity and accuracy when he lets
the ball go. Just add his name to a list of exceptional young talent that will
compete for a starting position somewhere in the near future. And for the
Saskatchewan Roughriders all I can say is dont panic. Panic only brings more
panic. You are 8-4 with six to go. You play BC twice more and Calgary once. As a
team, you control your destiny and after 13 weeks that is a blessing realized,
not a curse carried. I am not one of these guys who says you cant learn anything
from losing (Milt Stegall). To come from behind and take the lead only to then
lose it again was excellent experience for Darian Durrant and that offence. Its
not over yet for the Roughriders; far from it. Good week of football and 24 more
games to go!

John Brown Jersey . JOHNS, N.L. -- It didnt
take forward Peter Holland very long to make his impact with the Toronto
Marlies. Holland scored 3:02 into his first game and earned the games first star
as Toronto edged the host St. Johns IceCaps 3-2 on Friday in American Hockey
League action. "It was nice (to score early) and it sort of settled me down,"
said Holland, who was demoted by the Maple Leafs on Tuesday after 22 NHL games.
"Obviously there is a little bit of nerves no matter what level youre playing
at. It was nice to get that one and nice to get the win." Petter Granberg and
Sam Carrick also scored for the Marlies (20-11-3), who held a 3-0 lead after 40
minutes of play. Andrew Gordon and Kael Mouillierat replied for the IceCaps
(18-15-3) in the third period. Torontos Drew MacIntyre made 31 saves for his
league-leading 16th win of the season. Eddie Pasquale turned away 34-of-37 shots
for St. Johns. Granberg opened the scoring, finding the net through traffic with
a shot that changed direction on the way just 1:21 into the game. Holland scored
an easy tap-in to make it 2-0 as Pasquale was caught out of his net by some
crisp passing on the power play. "Spencer Abbott did a great job getting on the
weak side of the net there and Eddie (Pasquale) slid across to try to play the
shot, obviously," Holland said of his goal. "I just tried to position myself in
front and Abbott made a great play over to me and I had the open cage." Carrick
tipped home a Josh Leivo point shot for the Marlies with 1:17 left in the second
to make it 3-0. Mouillierat scored on a one-timer in the slot off a cross-ice
pass from JC Lipon to put the IceCaps on the board 5:17 into the third period.
Gordon picked up his own rebound and beat a sprawling MacIntyre to bring the
score to within one with 6:34 left in the third. St. Johns head coach Keith
McCambridge wasnt thrilled with his club having to play from behind the entire
game. "Its frustrating to have to chase the game when youre down quick with two
goals like that and youre outshooting the opponent," McCambridge said. "Its not
the fault of our goaltender, I thought the first goal was a tip and he had no
chance on the second goal, which was on the power play."

Authentic LeSean McCoy Jersey . Louis, MO
(SportsNetwork.com) - Chandler Catanzaro made four field goals as the Arizona
Cardinals moved closer to clinching a playoff spot despite not scoring a
touchdown in a 12-6 victory over the St. Louis Rams on Thursday. The Cardinals
(11-3) now own the leagues best record and can secure a postseason berth this
Sunday as long as the Dallas-Philadelphia game doesnt end in a tie. Arizona can
also clinch with a Detroit loss against Minnesota and a Green Bay win or tie in
Buffalo. Arizona, however, suffered another injury at quarterback at the hands
of the St. Louis defense as Drew Stanton left the game with a right knee injury
in the third quarter. He was carted off to the locker room and did not return.
Stanton, who was 12-of-20 for 109 yards before exiting, started his fifth
straight game after Carson Palmer tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his
left knee in a 31-14 win over the Rams on Nov. 9. Ryan Lindley took over for
Stanton and completed four of his 10 passes for 30 yards. Larry Fitzgerald (31
years, 102 days old) became the youngest player in NFL history to compile 900
career receptions after finishing with seven catches for 30 yards. Im glad we
dont have to play the Rams anymore, Fitzgerald said. Both times we played them,
they banged our quarterbacks up. Arizonas 11 wins ties a franchise record which
was also set in 1925 and 1948. Shaun Hill threw for 229 yards and an
interception on 20-of-39 passing and Stedman Bailey caught five passes for 74
yards for the Rams (6-8). St. Louis, which was coming off back-to-back shutouts
of Washington and Oakland, turned in another solid defensive performance,
limiting the Cardinals to just 274 total yards and 13 first downs, but lacked a
spark on offense. Its hard to win football games when you dont score touchdowns,
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said. The difference in this game was our inability
to get the ball in the end zone. The Rams finally converted a second-half first
down as Bailey hauled in a 38- yard strike down to Arizonas 39 with 10:10 to
play in the fourth quarter. St. Louis took the ball down to the 1-yard line, but
Hill threw the ball away on third down and Greg Zuerlein was true from 19 yards
out for a 12-6 game with 6:07 remaining. Kenny Britt caught a 22-yard dart
between two defenders and Jared Cooks 10- yard catch moved the Rams to midfield.
Hill hit Bailey for a 7-yard gain on second down, but his pass intended for
Chris Givens on fourth down was knocked down by Jerraud Powers and the Cardinals
took over on downs. After Arizona punted on its initial drive, Benjamin
Cunninghams 19-yard catch moved the Rams into their opponents territory and
Zuerlein kicked a 24-yard field goal for an early St. Louis lead. Frostee Rucker
knocked the ball loose from Tre Mason and Larry Foote pounced on it to give
Arizona the ball with 1:57 to play in the first quarter. Kerwynn Williams picked
up a first down on an 11-yard run. The drive stalled at the Rams 5, but
Catanzaro knotted the score with a 23-yarder. Michael Floyd outran Rams
cornerback Janoris Jenkins down the left sideline and made a 49-yard grab to set
up an eventual 44-yard Catanzaro make for a 6-3 lead with 8:25 to play in the
first half. The Rams punted the ball away on their first possession of the third
quarter to Tedd Ginn Jr., who navigated his way down the field 42 yards to the
St. Louis 42. Arizona, however, couldnt capitalize and gained just two yards
before punting. On their next drive, the Cardinals benefited from a 36-yard pass
interference penalty that moved them to their opponents 28. Two plays later,
Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald sacked Stanton for an 8-yard loss. The
Cardinals signal-caller stayed on the ground before hobbling off the field.
Lindley took over and delivered a 6-yard pass to Floyd, which helped set up
Catanzaros 51-yard field goal midway through the third. Arizona went up 12-3
when Catanzaro nailed a 46-yarder with 10:48 to play. Game Notes It was Arizonas
first win without a touchdown since a 12-7 triumph over Tampa Bay on Jan. 2,
2005 ... The Cardinals have won their last three games against the Rams ...
Catanzaros first field goal in the second quarter was the first points the Rams
allowed in 146:33, a span of 10 quarters ... Arizona cornerback Antonio
Cromartie, who was carted off the field with a left ankle injury last week, was
active ... Williams rushed for 75 yards on 15 carries.

Chelsea gained one point; West Brom lost two points but the biggest loser in all
was the sport. Referee Andre Marriners decision to award Chelsea a 94th-minute
penalty on Saturday was one of the most controversial decisions the Premier
League has seen in some time. On the line was Jose Mourinhos unbeaten home
league record as manager at Stamford Bridge, dating back to 2004. It appeared
the streak was coming to an end until Ramires fell under a challenge by defender
Steven Reid. Check out the play and judge for yourself. Was it a dive? No. Was
it a foul? Absolutely not. Reid simply ran towards the ball and watched the
Brazilian fall underneath him. Mistakes happen, referees are only human, but
what about those who do not think it was a mistake? Mourinho, speaking after the
game, said: "I am sure it was a penalty, I have watched it from different
angles, no doubt that is a penalty." It would be easy to believe this is a
comment from a man, who likes the limelight, sticking up for his team. However,
if that was the case would he really go over the top in selling it as a no doubt
penalty? I truly believe Mourinho, much like Marriner, believes it was a penalty
and if that is the case the sport is heading down a very dangerous path. The
penalty box extends 16.5 metres (54 ft) to each side of the goal and 16.5 metres
(54 ft) in front of it. Those measurements have been in place since 1901. They
are not going to change anytime soon, but they certainly should. If someone had
never watched the sport, before today, and you had to explain to them what
happened, the first question from them would surely be why is the blue team
allowed a free one on one shot with no defenders in front of them when a player,
nowhere near the goal, was brushed aside by a defender. Foul or no foul the
punishment is far too harsh for the crime committed. Or, in this case, not
committed. The awarding of a penalty is a massive moment in a football match. A
referee has to be absolutely convinced a foul has taken place before pointing to
the spot. This is where he needs help from the sports governing bodies and the
players. The decision is so monumental he needs time to be able to make that
judgment. He should also be allowed to discuss the moment with his assistants,
but in a game that allows players to barrage officials with abuse that would be
impossible. With the game played at a rapid pace and more and more rules put in
place to help attackers and hinder defenders, the regular awarding of penalties
throughout the sport globally (not just the Premier League) is a problem. And it
is getting worse. Here is a look at stats (via Opta) of the amount of penalties
taken each season in the Premier League. Season Penalties Taken Goals (pen)
Success (per cent) 2013-14 25 19 76.0 2012-13 85 68 80.0 2011-12 100 72 72.0

1994-95* 97 67 69.1 1993-94* 99 81 81.8 1992-93* 92 61 66.3 *The first three
seasons featured 22 PL teams and, subsequently, 462 matches played as opposed to
380 per season that take place in a 20-team league. Let us separate the Premier
League into three different sections, with seven full seasons in each. Penalties
awarded in the first seven seasons (92-93 to 98-99) - 581. An average of 83 per
season. Penalties awarded in the next seven seasons (99-00-05-06) - 567. An
average of 81 per season. Penalties awarded in last seven seasons (05-06-12-13)
- 686. An average of 98 per season. The average amount of penalties awarded in
the first 14 seasons of the Premier League was 82 with no season reaching the
century mark in penalties awarded, even when 82 more games were being played. In
the last seven seasons there has been four seasons where penalties awarded has
reached 100 or more and the average is up by 16 per season! You dont need stats
to know there are far more diving incidents and penalty appeals in the game than
there once was. Managers say the right thing about ending diving in the game but
ultimately it hasnt stopped players trying to gain an advantage over their
fellow professionals. That was not the case with Ramires on Saturday but what
happened is a direct consequence to the ongoing pressure placed on referees.
Asking referees to make a judgment call on an accusation of intent (diving)
simply gives them too much to think about. Put that next to comments by Mourinho
setting the standard that the Ramires incident is a penalty and you can
understand why more and more players try to win penalties. Its an epidemic
created by the modern game and it is here to stay. Get ready for the next
controversial penalty decision because it is coming much quicker than it used
to. Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Is there a 3-year-old out there who
very few people have heard of that can become a major factor in the run up to
the Kentucky Derby. With the beginning of 2015, attention among thoroughbred
fans and insiders turns to the long road that culminates with the 141st Kentucky
Derby on May 2. The three big name contenders early this season are American
Pharaoh, Texas Red and Dortmund. They finished 2014 as the three leading
2-year-olds and were the horses with the lowest odds at the close of the first
Kentucky Derby Future Wager. However, longshots are more the norm than the
exception in the actual winning of the Run for the Roses. A 3-year-old who didnt
have a stakes race as a 2- year-old but has shown ability is the one to look for
as the First Saturday in May approaches. Maybe such a horse is Serbian Syclone
who closed 2014 with an unquestioned victory in an allowance race at Santa Anita
the final day of last year. This was an impressive way for us to end the year on
a high note. He broke sharply, but he doesnt need the lead and it worked out
well. Well go ahead and point for the Sann Vicente, said trainer Peter
Miller.dddddddddddd Serbian Syclone, the 3-2 second choice, was ridden by Elvis
Trujillo in Wednesdays start and immediately went to the lead in the six-furlong
race. Owned by Rockingham Ranch, Serbian Syclone cruised to a 2 3/4-length
victory and stopped the timer at 1:09.39. It was a perfect race, said Trujillo.
This horse is training so good right now. He broke sharp, he went to the lead
and I never looked back. I worked him last week and he worked amazing. I knew he
could win today. The San Vicente will be an opportunity for Serbian Syclone to
begin to stretch out if his connections are serious about going to the 1
1/4-mile Kentucky Derby. The young colt was eighth first time out in a 6
1/2-furlong race on Nov. 2 at Santa Anita after pressing the early pace, losing
to Dortmund by 13 lengths, who was making his racing debut as well. However, two
weeks later Serbian Syclone rolled to victory by 6 1/4 lengths at Del Mar and
continued with Wednesdays winning effort. Serbian Syclone is now a 3-year-old to
keep your eyes on as the season progresses toward the Kentucky Derby.

Adam Vinatieri Jersey . LOUIS -- A week ago,
Jaroslav Halak couldnt wait to get off the ice and find a place to hide. Hed
been no relief at all after replacing Brian Elliott in net in New Jersey and was
embarrassed along with the rest of St. Louis Blues. "I can speak for myself: I
was hoping the game was over after the second period," Halak said. The bad taste
is all gone now. Alexander Steen gave the Blues the early lead and Halak earned
his fourth shutout of the season and was the games first star in a 3-0 victory
over the Devils on Tuesday night. New Jersey had 23 shots, the same as it needed
in a 7-1 rout at home last week, but, this time, had nothing to show for it. "It
was weird, going to New York and getting back and playing Jersey again," Halak
said. "It was a good thing we got it over with and we didnt have to wait."
Brenden Morrow added a power-play goal midway through the third period and
Maxim Lapierre scored into an empty net with 2:08 left. Patrik Berglund assisted
on both third-period scores. "I think the more we learn from those types of
games the better, because thats never a good recipe when youre chasing games,"
Morrow said. "Good teams stay with their structure, stay with their system and
let that roll over and get back into the game that way, and I think we learned
our lesson there." The Blues have won three straight and moved a point ahead of
the Blackhawks, who played later at Calgary, for the Central Division lead. St.
Louis cleaned up on defence a week after getting whipped in New Jersey when
Halak allowed four goals in 14 shots after relieving Elliott. Halak has started
all three games since that setback, allowing a total of four goals. Hes 7-1-1 in
his last nine starts with a 1.77 goals-against average and .940 save percentage.
The Devils mustered little offensively coming off a 7-3 loss to the Rangers at
Yankee Stadium on Sunday. They were shut out for the sixth time, although this
was the first time in 35 games. "Well, we didnt have many chances to score, but
they played great tight defence and we had nothing," said forward Jaromir Jagr,
held to two shots. "We had chances but not 100 per cent chances." The Devils
have the NHLs second-best power play but were 0 for 5 against Halak. "Two
totally different games," coach Peter DeBoer said. "Both goaltenders were very
good. I dont think that was the case last week in New Jersey." The Blues are an
NHL-best 17-3-1 against the Eastern Conference, and 9-0 at home. Steen was the
NHLs second-leading goal scorer in late December before missing 11 games with a
concussion. Hes been back six games and has a point in the last five with three
goals and four assists. "He is a very dynamic player," coach Ken Hitchcock said.
"For him to get to the elite level where he was before, I think he just has to
learn to get back to the right balance between reward and risk. "He had an
unbelievable balance of reward and risk going before he got hurt." Halak and
Brian Elliott have combined for seven shutouts this season. Halak has won four
straight starts with two shutouts this month, and holds the franchise mark with
20 shutouts in four seasons. Morrow deflected a waist-high shot past
Cory Schneider for his eighth goal and first point in nine games, capitalizing
on a tripping call against Bryce Salvador. St. Louis killed off Roman Polaks
high-sticking penalty just nine seconds into the game, and then took the lead on
Steens 27th goal at 3:25. Steen scored his 100th goal in six seasons with St.
Louis scoring from the slot on an odd-man rush with assists by Jaden Schwartz
and David Backes. Alex Pietrangelo took a holding call foiling a break-in by
Stephen Gionta late in the period and, again, the St. Louis penalty killers came
through. The Blues Vladimir Sobotka hit the goal post on an odd-man rush with
just under five minutes to go. The Devils played in St. Louis for the first time
since Nov. 20, 2010, a 3-2 Blues victory. NOTES: NFL Hall of Famer Dan Dierdorf,

When the best players from both countries hooked up for an eight-game series in
1972, a heated rivalry was born.NAPLES, Fla. -- A windy afternoon along the Gulf
Coast of Florida played right into the hands of Sandra Gal on Friday in the LPGA
Titleholders. Gal controlled the flight of her ball and picked up three birdies
on the back nine at Tiburon Golf Club, giving her a 3-under 69 and a three-shot
lead going into the weekend of an LPGA Tour finale that pays $700,000 to the
winner. The 28-year-old German has spent much of the year working on a shorter
swing and hitting a variety of shapes and trajectories, and that was put to good
use in the blustery conditions. And the fact she opened with a 64 didnt hurt.
"My advantage was yesterday," Gal said. "Shooting 8-under was big. Today it was
hard for everybody to catch up. Thats what gave me that three-shot lead." Gal
was at 11-under 133. Sun Young Yoo, the former Kraft Nabisco champion, had a 68
and was alone in second. The degree of difficult was best measured by what Yoo
considered her best shot of the round -- a 6-iron on the 18th hole that didnt
even hit the green. "Im very pleased with how I played," Yoo said. "I recovered
very well." Lydia Ko, the 16-year-old from New Zealand making her pro debut,
played her final 10 holes without a birdie and finished at 71, leaving her nine
shots behind. "I thought I played much better today than yesterday, but the
score was the same," Ko said. "I left a couple of my putts short just in front
of the hole. Then when I got my speed right, the direction was wrong, so that
was kind of frustrating." Gal hasnt won since her inaugural title at the Kia
Classic two years ago, and her biggest disappointment this year was not getting
picked for the Solheim Cup team. She felt her game was turning around, but not
in time to warrant a captains pick. Instead, she might have to settle for the
biggest payoff in womens golf. To win this week would amount to one-third of her
career earnings. "Its easier for people to say, I dont care about the money, I
only want to play well. But they dont mean it, right?" she said with a smile.
"But Im not out here to play for money. Im out here to play with heart and to
inspire others. Its a huge purse. But at the end of the day, when you win a
tournament, youre happy about fighting and overcoming fear.
Authentic Ryan Kelly Jersey. " Cristie Kerr
had to fight plenty hard to get another 69 and lead the group at 6-under 138,
five shots behind. Kerr thought she took take a 6-iron through a gap in the
trees on the par-5 opening hole, and instead knocked it into the water. She had
to drop in pine straw, and sent her fifth shot over the green. Her chip hit the
pin, allowing her to tap in for a double bogey. What followed was a "horrendous"
shot at the third (bogey) and a "horrible" shot on the fifth into a bunker. But
she saved par, and that changed her thinking. "I wasnt going to let this
tournament go down the toilet," she said. Kerr then ran off three straight
birdies, knocked in a 15-foot birdie putt on the 12th, and then holed an 80-foot
putt for eagle on the 17th that put her back in the mix. "On 17, I mean I was
just due. I dont know how to describe it any other way than that," she said.
Morgan Pressel had a 67, the low score of the second round. Four players failed
to break 80. Inbee Park was within a shot of the lead early in the round,
reaching 7 under, until she fell back to a 72 and was seven shots behind. Park
headed off to rehearse her speech one last time before accepting LPGA player of
the year at the awards dinner Friday night. Most players are nervous to stand
before a big room for such a big moment. "Ive had a lot more pressure," Park
said with a smile, a reference to going after a fourth straight major earlier
this year at St. Andrews. Stacey Lewis (73) and Suzann Pettersen (72) were in
the group at even-par 144, significant only as it relates to the Vare Trophy for
the lowest scoring average. Pettersen would have to finish nine shots higher
than the American to win the award. Gal stayed in the lead most of the day, and
one last birdie stretched her lead. She would expect to make birdie on the 17th,
the shortest of the par 5s. Just not this way. She hooked her tee shot into the
trees and wasnt sure she could find it. "Happy to find my ball," she said. "Had
a swing -- very happy. Had an 8-iron and thought, Lets go for the pin, and
almost holed it out. Made the putt (from 15 feet). All very simple Never in
doubt."

MEMPHIS, Tenn.
Cheap Jerseys Authentic . -- Kevin Durant
insisted the Thunder facing elimination was all the motivation he needed. Thanks
to the NBAs best scorer, the Thunder remain alive and can finish off the Memphis
Grizzlies back in Oklahoma City. Durant scored 36 points to break out of a
slump, and the Thunder routed the Grizzlies 104-84 on Thursday night to force a
deciding seventh game in the first-round Western Conference series. His
performance came on a day where the hometown newspaper questioned his struggles
with a headline calling him "Mr. Unreliable." "We needed to win this game,"
Durant said. "Thats more motivation than anything, so our team responded. Weve
got to do an even better job in Game 7." Russell Westbrook added 25 points for
the Thunder, who havent been eliminated in the first round of the playoffs since
2010. They took control early with Durant scoring 14 points in the first
quarter, led by 15 at halftime and never let Memphis get that close again in the
second half in the first game in the series that didnt go to overtime since the
opener. "You dont get to his level as an NBA player and a great player as he is
to have other people motivate you," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "Hes
self-motivated. Hes a tremendous kid and does everything for his team, for our
organization. Were proud of him because he gives everything he has. That was the
only focus for tonights game." Durant also had 10 rebounds and made 14 of 15
free throws. Reggie Jackson had 16 points off the bench for the Thunder, who
will host Game 7 on Saturday night. Grizzlies guard Tony Allen said the Thunder
simply wanted the game more and called the loss embarrassing in front of a
sellout crowd. "Now, weve shot ourselves in the foot, and we have to go to a
hostile environment now and pretty much show where our heart is at," Allen said.
Marc Gasol had 17 points and Zach Randolph 16 for Memphis. Guard Mike Conley
strained his right hamstring, briefly returned and left for good with 8:48 left.
Conley went down in the third quarter near midcourt dribbling when
Kendrick Perkins reached in for a steal. The Memphis guard returned briefly, but
Conley was limping noticeably. With the Thunder in control, Conley went to the
locker room again and didnt return. Nick Calathes currently is suspended for
violating the NBAs anti-drug policy, leaving Memphis with only Beno Udrih at
point guard. Memphis coach Dave Joerger said Udrih will play a lot of minutes if
Conley cant. Conley said he will be re-evaluated Friday and receive as much
treatment as possible before tipoff Saturday. "I plan on playing," Conley said.
Durant had to answer questions after the shootaround Thursday about that
headline in The Oklahoman newspaper. Durant said he had no problem with the
headline and that he just needed to hit shots and be more aggressive. Smiling
just before tipoff, Durant did just that. The man who led the NBA scoring 32
points a game during the regular season opened by hitting five of his first
seven and finished 11 of 23 from the floor. He continued to struggle outside the
arc where he missed all six of his attempts. The Grizzlies had a chance to
advance to their third semifinal in four years on their own floor. Yet they
couldnt shoot well or match the Thunders intensity with a sloppy performance in
front of a sellout crowd that tried to energize the Grizzlies. Oklahoma City
outrebounded Memphis 47-36 and easily outshot them 49.3 per cent (37 of 75) to
37.3 per cent (31 of 83). "We knew sooner or later our shots would fall," Brooks
said. Brooks also benched Thabo Sefolosha and started Caron Butler. "This is why
you play the game to prove doubters wrong, and adversity builds character,"
Butler said. "This team has a strong character and a will." Memphis last led
6-4. A team that thrives off defence, the Grizzlies couldnt knock down shots
even when they managed to get consecutive stops. The Grizzlies got to 42-37 with
3:08 left on a steal and fast-break layup by Conley. The Thunder finished the
half with a 14-4 run for a 56-41 lead. The Grizzlies missed their first six
shots to open the third quarter, finishing any hopes of a comeback.
James Johnson scored 15 points off the bench for Memphis, and Allen added 13.
Notes: This will be the second Game 7 between the teams in four years. Oklahoma
City beat Memphis in seven in the 2011 conference semifinals. ... The Grizzlies
are 4-1 with a chance to close out a series. ... Steven Adams blocked a
career-high five shots off the bench for the Thunder.

how illogical it was that $300 million worth of soccer talent lost to a team
which cost $12,000 to assemble.Forget how embarrassing it was for Jose Mourinho
to see his Premier League-leading Chelsea side beaten by Bradford of the third
tier.Savour instead the FA Cup and the enduring ability of the worlds oldest
knockout competition to throw up giant killings that particularly befuddle the
modern tribe of football fans whose predictions and judgments are based on heat
maps and player data.Clips from Chelseas 4-2 fourth-round capitulation at home
to Bradford on Saturday will be replayed for decades, resonating far longer than
even the occasional Champions League group-stage upset. But for Bradford, the
comeback from two goals down is about much more than removing some of the sheen
from a Chelsea team being tipped at one stage to go through the Premier League
season unbeaten. An afternoon as the jubilant underdog will make a big difference
to the finances of a club, which also stunned English football by reaching the
League Cup final in 2013.We have an overspend this year of more than 1 million
pounds ($1.5 million), Bradford co-chairman Mark Lawn told The Associated Press
on Monday. We will break even now and dont need to sell players.Between the
third and sixth rounds, each team receives 45 per cent of the gate receipts from
matches, with the rest going to the Football Association. Lawn anticipates the
cup generating an extra 700,000 pounds ($1 million) for his northern English
club, highlighting just how important the competition is financially for
professional teams outside the Premier League.Cup runs keep the 72 clubs in
Football League going, Lawn said by telephone. They can be the difference from
financial ruin and financial stability. The tone for a frenzied weekend of cup
upsets was set on Friday with Cambridge, a fourth-tier team of cast-away academy
graduates and freebies, holding a Manchester United matchday squad worth more
than $300 million to a 0-0 draw. Cambridge is anticipating a windfall of more
than 1.5 million pounds ($2.3 million) from a replay at Old Traffordd next week.
Wholesale Jerseys 2016. Hopefully we can get
the stadium done and start putting in some proper toilets, said Cambridge
chairman Dave Doggett. For United it was the second humbling experience of the
season under Louis van Gaal, with third-tier MK Dons ousting them from the
League Cup in August. And in the FA Cups third round earlier this month, United
needed more than an hour to score against Yeovil before edging the third-tier
team 2-0.At Yeovil, a seemingly perplexed Van Gaal said: When you can organize
your team (defensively) like the manager of Yeovil Town and they believe in it,
you cannot do a lot.Not even when you are a veteran coach who only last year was
being called a genius for leading the Netherlands to third place at the World
Cup.Unlike Chelsea and Premier League champion Manchester City, which was
stunned by second-tier Middlesbrough on Saturday, United was at near
full-strength against Cambridge. The expensive strike force, led by Radamel
Falcao and Angel di Maria, couldnt find the net once. What Cambridge, and indeed
Bradford, showed is that a teams stature and squad value can count for little
when taking on a more determined, well-organized lower-league team.Perhaps
Mourinho now regrets destabilizing the team by making nine changes, giving
top-scorer Diego Costa a day off and leaving defensive fulcrum John Terry on the
bench.Bradford didnt just steal the victory with scrappy goals. The team looked
tenacious and unsettled its more illustrious hosts. It shouldnt make sense, said
Lawn, who first invested in Bradford in 2007. We are lucky in this country we
have the FA Cup. We are lucky a team 50 places below the people at the top of
the tree can still go there to Chelsea and win. What might perplex the outsider
is why Bradford is only seventh in the third division and not competing against
powers like Chelsea every week. You could see it in their legs they were tired,
Lawn reflected on Saturdays game at Stamford Bridge. You cant play every single
game at the same pelt ... and you need to have a bit of luck on your side.___Rob

TORONTO -- A December road game against the Buffalo Bills has never shaped up so
well for Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.
Rafinha Camiseta . The Falcons face the Bills
on Sunday at Rogers Centre, meaning Ryan and Co. wont have to deal with the
wind, rain and snow being forecast for Buffalos home venue, Ralph Wilson
Stadium, in Orchard Park, N.Y. It will be Buffalos sixth regular-season "home"
game in Ontario as part of the Bills Toronto Series, which began in 2008 and was
renewed in January for another five years. The Bills (4-7) are 1-4 at Rogers
Centre and 0-3 in December contests there. Whats more, Atlanta (2-9) plays its
home games in a dome. "I think obviously playing in a dome this time of year
late in the year thats an advantage for both offences," Ryan said. "It can be
difficult to go out there and play when its windy and cold and youre either
getting hail or snow . . . so I think both offences, it cuts you a little bit of
a break." But once again receiver Stevie Johnson and his Buffalo teammates must
deal with the disadvantage of being the home team indoors in a different
country. "Yeah, they must have fixed the schedule or something out there in
Atlanta," Johnson said. "Who put the schedule together to have them come to
Toronto?" Buffalos roster features two Canadians: rookie defensive lineman
Stefan Charles, a Toronto native who grew up in Oshawa, Ont., and veteran
linebacker Jamaal Westerman, who was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., but grew up in
Brampton, Ont. Falcons general manager Thomas Dimitroff grew up in Guelph, Ont.,
and played at the University of Guelph. Charles, claimed last month off
Tennessees practice roster, could see more playing time Sunday as defensive
tackle Kyle Williams (back) is questionable. Williams, 30, has a career-high
seven sacks and 48 tackles this season. The Bills Toronto Series was unveiled in
2008 as event organizers wanted to show Toronto was a viable NFL city. Rogers
Communications Inc. paid US$78 million to stage eight games -- five regular
season, three exhibition -- expecting southern Ontario fans to flock to Rogers
Centre. But a slow economy, high-priced tickets -- initially averaging over $180
each, compared to roughly US$51 at Orchard Park -- and struggling Bills teams
have made it a tough sell. Last year, a series-low 40,770 spectators watched
Seattle dismantle Buffalo 50-17. Some ticket prices were reduced to make games
more affordable but that hasnt resulted in a sellout. The average ticket price
last year was roughly $99. Greg Albrecht, in his second year as the executive
director of the Bills in Toronto Series, expects a crowd of about 40,770 on
Sunday. But with events planned for the entire weekend, a pre-game show
featuring "some surprises from the Department of National Defence," and a
half-time performance by The Beach Boys, Albrecht said this has become much more
than just a football game. "That is absolutely my goal, to make this the
preeminent NFL experience in Canada," he said. The series has been good
financially for the Bills as the original deal more than doubled what they
wouldve made holding the games at Orchard Park. It has also allowed the NFL club
to establish a foothold in Canadas biggest market. But the Bills lose their huge
home-field advantage playing late-season games in cold, blustery Orchard Park.
Also, fans at Rogers Centre cheer as much -- or more -- for Buffalos opponents
as they do the home team. However, Albrecht has a plan to help remedy that.
"Were looking for the craziest fans when the Bills are on defence," Albrecht
said. "Four of those fans, one per quarter, will be picked and prior to the end
of the game were going to do a contest, basically an on-field event, and the two
winners will be flown to Barbados for a week with their family. "Its a pretty
high-end prize but its just an incentive to get people to really start making a
lot of noise and creating that crazy NFL fan experience here in Toronto." The
series has also created much speculation regarding the Bills potential
relocation to Toronto after owner Ralph Wilson, 95, passes away. Such talk
gained more steam last week amid reports that rocker Jon Bon Jovi has aligned
himself with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment -- which owns the NHLs Maple
Leafs and NBAs Raptors -- to purchase the Bills and move them to southern
Ontario. "In my view, this is something were building to create more NFL
awareness as well as build up the Bills fanbase and celebrate the NFL in
Canada," Albrecht said. "The future of the team, who owns it and where it goes
is a little bit beyond my purview. "Im here to make sure were doing what we can
from a corporate partnership base, from a fanbase and make this the best NFL
event that we can make." But that hasnt stopped some Bills players from
criticizing the series. Centre Eric Woods blasted the Rogers Centre after last
years contest. "I think that Toronto series has turned into pretty much a joke,"
Wood told a Buffalo radio station. "Its a bad atmosphere for football. I mean,
nobody wants to play there. "I guess for opposing teams it beats the hell out of
going in somebody elses stadium and dealing with a bunch of crowd noise. I dont
think its turned out the way we wanted, and I hope we dont renew it. That
sucked." Woods was signing a different tune this week. "I kind of said that in
the heat of the moment after the game last year, and Im looking forward to it,"
he said. "Hopefully my feelings will change after this game." Buffalo rookie
head coach Doug Marrone said the Bills could make Rogers Centre an inhospitable
environment for opponents by playing better there and giving Toronto fans more
to cheer about. "I think we do have some fans in Toronto and I think if we play
well well create more fans," he said. "I think we can over a period of time,
with success, really create that type of advantage for us over there." Still,
Ryan is preparing for the worse at Rogers Centre. "Well anticipate going into it
where its going to be really loud and difficult for us to communicate, and then
obviously adjust if its different," he said. "But Im hoping weve got a bunch of
supporters up in Toronto and they show up this weekend and are pulling for us."

Blanca camiseta barcelona .com) - Coming down
the stretch of a lengthy road trip, the Vancouver Canucks aim to rebound from
just their second loss in seven games on Sunday evening as they visit the Ottawa
Senators. ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Peyton Manning flew to New York this spring to pay
his respects to Derek Jeter and David Letterman, two much-admired superstars in
the middle of their long goodbyes. "Im sad to see some of these guys retiring,"
the Broncos quarterback said at the time. "Im not far behind." Yet retirement
really isnt on Mannings radar as he prepares for his 17th NFL season, his third
in Denver. Coming off the best two-year stretch of his career, Manning is
keeping tacklers, tedium and time itself at bay. At 38, Manning said hell keep
playing as long as hes still productive and loves the game. That passion and
productivity were on full display last season when he won his fifth MVP award
and set single-season records by passing for 55 touchdowns and more than 5,500
yards. There are no signs of his affection or efficiency ebbing anytime soon,
either. "You see it in how he prepares every day," centre Manny Ramirez said.
"Were here in the off-season and hes still putting the same amount of focus as
he does in-season, preparing, trying to get better every day, trying to pick
apart the defences." "I still enjoy the work and preparation," said Manning, who
lost wide receiver Eric Decker to the Jets but gained coveted free agent
Emmanuel Sanders and prized rookie Cody Latimer. That turnover actually helps
keep Manning young at heart, coach John Fox suggested. "Theres so much change in
the NFL nowadays that I think that keeps the juices flowing, whether thats
getting Emmanuel Sanders up to speed or last year, Wes Welker. Anytime you put a
new cog in there, thats an adjustment," Fox said. "I think he takes pride in
that and he attacks that. He seems to me to be having a great time." Manning
would like to play out his contract, which runs through 2016. Yet, while hes not
pondering retirement, he said in an interview with The Associated Press that he
has certainly contemplated what it will be like. "Sometimes I sort of kick back
and I pause and I think what sorts of things would I miss the most if I wasnt
playing," Manning said. The answer hits him like one of those teeth-rattling
sacks by Robert Mathis. "Being in the huddle," Manning said. "Thats what I
missed most when I was injured, Ill say that. I mean, theres no other type of
unity or bond that I think any other job can provide. I know there are meetings,
there are video conferences. But that huddle, because of where it takes place:
its often on the road, in the middle of the field, in front of 80,000 people,
its unique." Its what excites him even at an age when many quarterbacks have
retired to the broadcast booth or are hitting thhe links instead of the weights.
Sergio Busquets Camiseta. "When you dont play
football anymore, you can broadcast, you can coach, you can be in management,
whatever, but you are not allowed to go into the huddle anymore," Manning said.
"That huddle is just for players. You can go into the locker room after the game
and you can speak to the team, but I think any retired player would probably
tell you they miss the huddle." The way Manning has guided the Broncos to a 28-8
record over the last two years belies how far he had fallen when he was forced
to sit out the 2011 season in Indianapolis and even had to look in a mirror to
relearn his release point after a series of neck surgeries weakened his throwing
arm to the point he could hardly grip, much less throw, a football. Mannings
reboot has turned into a blessing. "Yeah, although I have to say, some guys
might need a year off to whatever, relight to fire, whatever it may be. I didnt
need a year off to remind me of how much I love football," Manning said. "But
when you have it, it sure does reinforce what you kind of always thought, that I
do love it." Working with play-caller Adam Gase and new teammates has
revitalized Manning. "Sometimes it, the monotonous routine, the boredom, that
pushes guys out, not the physical part of it," Manning said. "And I have been
stimulated the past two years working with Adam and working with different
teammates, so it does sort of keep the bounce in you, I think." Manning doesnt
view himself so much as a 17-year NFL veteran but as Denvers third-year
quarterback. "I really feel because its a new team, post-injury, its kind of a
new me. Thats how I have to look at it," Manning said. "Im a different player
from before I was injured. Im not saying better, worse, whatever, just a
different player. And so what I can compare myself most accurately to is my
first season here in Denver and kind of how I am physically and how I am with my
teammates and with Adam and so its helped to have now two years to build off
that baseline." He no longer feels like a visitor in his own locker room. "And I
like going into that huddle," Manning said. "I like the guys that I get to work
with. I like lifting weights, working with Wes Welker, doing a set of bench
press with Jacob Tamme, I like working with the guys that I play with and I
still like learning. I like being challenged by Adam every day to be a better
football player. There are a lot of things that I still enjoy about it. "And I
look forward to driving over here every day. I think as soon as you go, Golly, I
do not want to go over there today, thats when youve got to get out."

Lambeau Field faithful will be able to scream Kuuuuuuuuuhn! at the top of their
lungs for at least another year. Veteran fullback and local folk hero John Kuhn
re-signed with the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, general manager Ted Thompson
said in a statement. The one-year deal is expected to be worth just over $1
million, including signing, roster and workout bonuses, agent Kevin Gold said.
The 31-year-old Kuhn joined the Packers in 2007 when he was claimed off waivers
from Pittsburgh. Hes played in 107 regular-season games with the Packers and hes
become a fan favourite. Hes also one of quarterback Aaron Rodgers closest
friends on the team. "Great player, great teammate," Rodgers said at the end of
the 2013 season. "(Theres) nobody I trust more on the field than John. Hes an
exceptional guy, I love playing with him, and Id be really sad if we werent able
to walk out of that tunnel together." In 2013, Kuhn carried 10 times for 38
yards and a touchdown, and caught 13 passes for 81 yards in regular-season play.
For his eight-year NFL career, Kuhn has only 165 carries for 506 yards and 12
TDs. What role Kuhn will play next season is unclear. Packers coach Mike
McCarthy said last week he wants all his running backs to be able to play all
three downs. In addition to Kuhn, the Packers have NFL Offensive Rookie of the
Year Eddie Lacy returning for his second season; James Starks coming back after
signing a two-year, $3.

(neck) both expected to return to full health. They also brought back
Michael Hill, who spent time on both the 53-man roster and the practice squad
last year before signing with Tampa Bay late in the year. The Packers are loaded
in the backfield. "Its important for all of them to be three-down players,"
McCarthy said. "For the way we want to play on offence, we want players to be
three-down players, we want to keep our substitution limited. Thats an
off-season goal of ours." At this point, no one pass protects for Rodgers like
Kuhn, who helped save the Packers season by getting enough of a block on
now-teammate Julius Peppers to allow Rodgers to side-step the Chicago defensive
end and throw the winning touchdown pass to Randall Cobb in the regular-season
finale. That road victory over the Bears sent the Packers into the playoffs.
Asked what it takes to be an effective third-down back, McCarthy made it clear
what still matters the most. "A-No. 1, it is pass protection. We protect the
quarterback," McCarthy said. "Hes a franchise quarterback, hes the best football
player on our team, and we have to protect him. Checkdowns will (also) be an
emphasis for us. Because were very young with that group." But with a whole lot
of returning experience in Kuhn.
