Defining the characteristics of Introverts?

The Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai defines introverts-As per Google, it's “a person predominantly concerned with their own thoughts and feelings rather than with external things.” The Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai states that most of the society members, introverts are “a species who are quiet, monotonous, have isolated-life etc etc. Right? Somehow or another consent to it however firmly differs that they have a dull life. Thoughtful people are honored with the ability to have consideration and spotlight on self-advancement and even battle their feelings of trepidation devils alone with no outer help or direction. They are continually in the period of finding something stunning like each second, moment and hour.

An introvert is often thought of as a quiet, reserved, and thoughtful individual. They don’t seek out special attention or social engagements, as these events can leave introverts feeling exhausted and drained. Some of the characteristics of introverts pointed out by the Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai are as follows:

Characteristics of introverts:

·Prefer time for themselves

·Are drained from social networking sites

·Prefer working alone

·Have close circle of friends

·Prefer writing over talking

Having said all this now my point is are introverts shy? No, it’s a myth that is associated with introverts and this needs to be broken. Being judgmental about this issue is wrong. Whenever someone introduces themselves as an introvert, the very first question is are you nervous?

Nervousness is a common thing that is experienced by every human being so associating it to an individual is not the correct way. Every individual has something unique and judging them decolorizes the entire thing. The above statement by Aristotle proves that nobody has the right to diminish our identity and knowing ourselves is the greatest asset that can balance your life.

An introvert is very observant of the emotions, moods and the minute details of the surroundings and people. He/she will observe the tiniest smirk or frown in a person whom the others may have not even noticed. Just by observing people they can tell you how that person is feeling. If they see that others are in stress or tension the next trait of them will come to light:

They generally enjoy their own company and become extremely awkward in the presence of outsiders or others. Being an introvert makes it difficult in social gatherings. You just give them a nod or smile at them. You have the answers in your mind but are too shy to speak about them. Which leads to another trait.

They are the best listeners one can bargain for. They will listen patiently, understand your problem, analyze it, work from both angles while you are speaking and when asked for advice will give you the most specific advice. They are simply not judgemental, they will work from both the angles and will give you an honest opinion.

Introverts open up with someone or somebody after a very long duration of time and patience and they will only let you enter their world if they find you can understand them and all these qualities of them. They will tell you about their world, include you in their world and let you be yourself.

In short, let me tell you, introverts are the best people you can ever get. They will help you, guide you if you are ever wrong, will be the best listeners, and will always have loads of books and series recommendations that you will surely love.
