had three doubles and Billy Hamilton ended 3-for- from miao1234's blog

South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel headline a record number of underclassmen entering the NFL draft heading into Wednesday nights deadline. http://www.redskinsfanaticstore.com/authentic-art-monk-redskins-jersey/ . At least 90 players who had college eligibility remaining are expected to enter the draft, shattering last years record number of 73. "Its a humongous number, so the first reaction is it makes you step back a little bit," said NFL Network draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah, a former scout with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Philadelphia Eagles. "What Im hearing is that the agents always have to make the sales pitch to get these to come out. This year, what Ive been told is the sales pitch is that all your money right now is coming from the second contract, so you need to come out early so you can get to that second contract a year earlier ... and apparently its been pretty effective." ESPN analyst Mel Kiper Jr. released a mock draft Wednesday in which 23 of the 32 first-round picks were early entries. Kiper had Manziel going first overall and included Clowney, UCF quarterback Blake Bortles and Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins as top-five picks. Jeremiahs list of the top 50 draft prospects includes early entries in the top three spots: Clowney at No. 1, Watkins at No. 2 and Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson at No. 3. "Its going to be a huge number of underclassmen that go high and have long careers," Jeremiah said. "And there are going to be some other guys who dont get drafted and will be in a tough spot and would have been better served to go back to school. It works both ways." ------ Heres a position-by-position breakdown of some of the early entries at each position. QUARTERBACK: Manziel, Bortles and Louisvilles Teddy Bridgewater are all projected first-round picks. Although the 6-foot-1 Manziel lacks the size of Bortles and Bridgewater, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner played tougher competition in the Southeastern Conference. Jeremiah ranks Manziel as his No. 7 overall prospect, with Bridgewater 10th and Bortles 22nd. Kipers mock draft has Bridgewater getting taken eighth. Wyomings Brett Smith isnt regarded as highly as the other three quarterbacks, but he could get chosen later in the draft. RUNNING BACK: Auburns Tre Mason boosted his stock by rushing for 663 yards against Alabama, Missouri and Florida State over his final three games. Jeremiah rates Mason 47th overall and second among running backs, behind Ohio State senior Micah Hyde. Other notable running backs to enter the draft include Arizonas KaDeem Carey, Washingtons Bishop Sankey, Oregons DeAnthony Thomas, LSUs Jeremy Hill, UCFs Storm Johnson and Florida State teammates Devonta Freeman and James Wilder Jr. WIDE RECEIVER: The impact of underclassmen on the draft is perhaps most evident at wide receiver. Kipers mock draft has seven early entry receivers going in the first round: Watkins, Texas A&Ms Mike Evans (13), Southern Californias Marqise Lee (18), Florida States Kelvin Benjamin (22), Oregon States Brandin Cooks (28), LSUs Odell Beckham Jr. (30) and Penn States Allen Robinson (32). Jeremiah has nine listed among his top 50 overall prospects. And that doesnt factor in the available tight ends. Kiper has North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron going 16th overall and Texas Techs Jace Amaro 29th. OFFENSIVE LINE: Robinson has parlayed a breakthrough season at Auburn into a likely top-10 selection in the draft. Alabamas Cyrus Kouandjio and Tennessees Antonio "Tiny" Richardson could join him in the first round. DEFENSIVE LINE: The headliner here is Clowney, who may have the most upside of any prospect regardless of position. Florida State tackle Timmy Jernigan also is a potential top-10 pick. Notre Dame teammates Louis Nix and Stephon Tuitt as well as Missouris Kony Ealy could both get taken in the first round. Florida tackle Dominique Easley was playing at an All-America level this fall before tearing his anterior cruciate ligament. LINEBACKER: Ohio States Ryan Shazier is rated as the No. 31 overall prospect by Jeremiah. Other linebackers turning pro early include Floridas Ronald Powell, Californias Khairi Fortt, Alabamas Adrian Hubbard and Connecticuts Yawin Smallwood. DEFENSIVE BACK: Alabama safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and Louisville safety Calvin Pryor are both listed as first-round picks in Kipers mock draft and top-15 prospects in Jeremiahs rankings. Ohio State cornerback Bradley Roby, rated 50th overall by Jeremiah, is the 25th pick in Kipers mock draft. http://www.redskinsfanaticstore.com/authentic-chris-baker-redskins-jersey/ .com) - Brent Burns scored with 38 seconds remaining in overtime, lifting the San Jose Sharks to a dramatic 3-2 victory over the St. http://www.redskinsfanaticstore.com/authentic-spencer-long-redskins-jersey/ . Vazquez will be defending his IBF belt for the sixth time since August 2010, having lost only three of his 36 fights. Burns saw plans to defend his WBO belt dashed recently when two planned opponents withdrew from title fights.(Sports Network) - The race in the National League Central could get sorted out after this weekends three-game series between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds at PNC Park. The two wild card leaders will kick off the important series tonight and trail the St. Louis Cardinals in the division. Pittsburgh, the leaders of the first NL wild card spot, is one game behind the Cardinals, while Cincinnati sits two games off the pace. The Reds, though, are five games ahead of Washington for the final postseason berth. Pittsburgh is 4-4 on an 11-game homestand and salvaged the finale of a four- game series versus the San Diego Padres with Thursdays 10-1 demolition. Pirates young starting pitcher Gerrit Cole struck out 12 batters and held the Friars to a run and four hits in six innings for the win. "More often than not, the game starts on the mound and it did today," said Pirates manager Clint Hurdle. "It was a feel good for everybody today." Cole was backed by a potent offense, which was highlighted by Neil Walker, who finished 4-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Jose Tabata ended with two hits, a pair of runs scored and drove in three runs, while Tony Sanchez and Jordy Mercer each posted two hits and two runs scored. Pedro Alvarez homered for the Pirates, who had lost four of their previous six games. Francisco Liriano gets the start for the Buccos Friday and he is 16-7 with a 2.92 ERA in 24 starts. He is 11-4 in his last 15 decisions with a 3.15 ERA and the Pirates have a 12-4 mark in that span. Liriano held the Chicago Cubs to two runs in six innings of a 3-2 win on Sunday and did not figure into the decision. Liriano has an 8-1 mark in 10 home starts, but is winless in three starts against Cincinnati in 2013. He neveer faced the Reds before this season. http://www.redskinsfanaticstore.com/. . The Reds are coming off a three-game sweep against the Houston Astros and have a 4-2 record on the final road trip of the season. In a 6-5 win in 13 innings on Wednesday from Houstons Minute Maid Park, Jay Bruces two-run double was enough to lift Cincinnati to its ninth win in 13 tries. Jonathan Villar scored for the Astros in the bottom of the 13th before Reds All-Star closer Aroldis Chapman settled down to post his 37th save. Alfredo Simon tossed three scoreless innings of relief to pick up the win and starter Greg Reynolds was reached for a pair of runs in 3 2/3 innings. Bruce, meanwhile, had three doubles and Billy Hamilton ended 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in his first start for the Reds. Bruce is batting .529 with nine hits and 10 RBI in his last four games. "Hes a really good hitter," Astros manager Bo Porter said of Bruce. "We walked him (intentionally in the ninth) with runners at first and third. That should tell you how much we think about him. He hurt us all three games." Taking the mound for the Reds Friday will be Mat Latos. Latos is 2-3 in his past five decisions and lost at Milwaukee in last Fridays 5-1 setback, as he surrendered all five runs and seven hits in 6 2/3 frames to fall to 14-6 in 30 starts this season with a 3.14 ERA. Latos is 5-5 in 17 road starts this season and 1-1 with a 3.57 ERA in four starts against Pittsburgh. The right-hander has faced the Pirates 10 times in his career, going 5-1 with a 2.66 ERA. Pittsburgh holds a slim 7-6 edge on Cincinnati this season, going 4-2 at PNC Park over that stretch. The previous seven meetings between the NL Central inhabitants were held at Great American Ball Park. Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap Jerseys China Wholesale Jerseys ' ' '
