The doctor took too long to come back to his office with my pregnancy results. I did not know what to anticipate from him, and I hoped that I was not pregnant. I had no idea how I was going to break the news to my parents and the baby’s father if I ended up pregnant. My heart seemed to beat a million times a minute with the fear that I had in my heart.          My parents were truly going to be disappointed especially since I was their only child. The thought of being grandparents while I was still on campus was something that they had not planned for. When he arrived, he asked me to sit down so that he could read the results. I did as he asked, and he did not beat around the bush as he told me that I was pregnant. I did not know how to react, and I walked back to campus in a daze.
